Keane Consulting, Keane Automotive and Keane Racing are the three business names registered to Emkay Technical Services Ltd.

Emkay Technical Services Ltd. was founded in 1996 by Michael Keane Snr to provide contract construction management and piping design to large industry.

Michael Keane Snr has over 35 years experience in a broad range of industrial disciplines, from design and management to installation and commissioning. This range allowed him to direct Emkay Technical Services Ltd. to successful completion of projects in many fields.

Over the following eight years Emkay Technical Services Ltd. provided excellent contract support to many Irish-based industries, particularly in the pharmaceutical and metal refining arenas.

Through-out this time Emkay Technical Services Ltd. experienced growing need for permanent Mechanical Design Engineering.

In 2004, Mike Keane Jnr joined the company to fulfil this role. Mike holds a BEng (Hons) in Automotive Engineering Design from Coventry University . He has worked with a number of OEM and first tier automotive, mechanical and motorsport companies in the role of project engineer and design engineer.

In 2004, Keane Racing was founded to provide unique design and engineering services for the Motorsport industry. Immediately, this capability of the company was recognised by the prestigious Italian racing car manufacturer Picchio S.p.A. who signed Keane Racing as official Irish Agent.

In 2006, the company was re-organised to more accurately reflect the needs of our clients.

Keane Consulting was launched to cover all design engineering and project management aspects previously covered under the Emkay Technical Services Ltd banner.

Keane Automotive was launched to deal with automotive engineering and research which was not related to motorsport.

Keane Racing still provides its unique design and engineering service to the motorsport industry.
